As an Accounts Assistant in Southampton, you'll play a key role in supporting the daily financial operations. This temporary role involves handling essential accounting tasks to help ensure smooth and efficient financial processes.

Description

• Process invoices and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
• Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes.
• Perform general administrative tasks related to accounting.

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

• Experience in accounting or finance roles carrying out similar duties.
• Knowledge of accounting software and proficiency in MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and task management.

Job Offer

• An hourly rate of £14.00 to £17.00, dependent on the level of experience.
