B1 Counterbalance Forklift Driver – Immediate Opportunities

Amnis Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced B1 Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Woolston, Southampton.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and experienced forklift driver looking for ongoing work within a busy manufacturing and warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a B1 counterbalance forklift within a busy warehouse and production environment.

• Load, unload and move materials and finished products.

• Support warehouse operations, including stock movement and storage.

• Ensure goods are handled safely and efficiently.

• Carry out daily forklift safety checks and report any defects.

• Follow all site health and safety procedures.

• Work collaboratively with warehouse and production teams to meet operational requirements.

Essential Requirements

• Valid B1 Counterbalance Forklift Certification issued by AITT or an equivalent recognised training organisation.

• Minimum 3 years' experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

• Previous experience operating counterbalance forklifts.

• Experience working rotating shifts.

• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.

• Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.

• Good communication skills.
