Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Car Sales Executive to join a reputable electric vehicle dealership in Southampton, Hampshire. This Car Sales Executive role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals looking to advance their career within a well-established automotive group.

Key benefits:

• Basic salary up to £25,000 with an on-target earning of £50,000 plus uncapped commission

• Monday to Friday working hours, 08:30 to 18:00, with a regular day off during the week and a one-hour lunch break
• Saturday hours, 08:30 to 17:00, and Sunday hours, 10:00 to 16:00 on a rotating basis (every other weekend)

Duties of a Car Sales Executive:

• Achieve and surpass monthly and annual sales targets, including additional product sales such as warranty and finance packages
• Maximise profitability on vehicle sales by offering suitable finance options and extras
• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty
• Maintain comprehensive product knowledge of the dealership’s vehicle range, accessories, and warranty options
• Act as a brand ambassador, representing the dealership positively in the local community
• Fulfil customer appointments, efficiently managing sales process stages and follow-ups to generate leads and prospects
• Uphold industry standards and compliance regulations at all times

Requirements of a Car Sales Executive:

• Proven experience in motor vehicle sales or a strong sales background with transferable skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Able to plan, organise, and meet sales deadlines
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and actively prospect for new customers
• Full UK driving licence
• Right to work in the UK
