As a Functional Assessor, you'll assess how long-term health conditions and disabilities affect an individual's daily living, mobility and functional ability. You'll conduct structured consultations, consider medical evidence and produce clear, objective and evidence-based reports.

No hands-on care is required, and no previous Functional Assessor experience is necessary.

What you'll do:

• Conduct face-to-face, telephone and video assessments
• Take detailed clinical histories and ask structured questions
• Assess how health conditions and disabilities affect daily activities and functional ability
• Review and analyse medical evidence and supporting information
• Apply clinical reasoning and professional judgement
• Produce accurate, objective and evidence-based reports
• Manage your own workload and caseload
• Communicate professionally and sensitively with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds

What You'll Get:

• PIP - £45,000 increasing to £47,000 after 12 months (3 detailed reports)
• WCA - £48,000 increasing to £49,000 after 12 months (5-6 detailed reports

You'll Need:

• Current NMC, HCPC or GPhC registration
• At least 1 year's post-registration clinical experience in an adult setting
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Good clinical reasoning and professional judgement
• Excellent report-writing, typing and IT skills
• The ability to work independently and manage a caseload
• Full right to work in the UK
