Welder Fabricator

Are you an experienced Welder Fabricator looking for your next opportunity? We're working with a well-established engineering business that is looking to expand its workshop team with a skilled and reliable fabricator who takes pride in producing high-quality work.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company where you'll work on a variety of fabrication projects in a modern workshop environment, using a range of welding techniques to manufacture and assemble high-quality metal components.

The Role As a Welder Fabricator, you'll be responsible for producing and assembling fabricated metalwork from engineering drawings, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Fabricating and assembling metal components from technical drawings.
  
  
• Carrying out MIG, TIG and ARC welding to a high standard.
  
  
• Preparing materials by cutting, grinding and cleaning prior to fabrication.
  
  
• Inspecting finished welds and fabricated parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
  
  
• Maintaining welding equipment and ensuring tools remain in good working order.
  
  
• Working closely with colleagues to deliver projects efficiently and on schedule.
  
  
• Identifying and resolving fabrication or welding issues as they arise.
  
  
• Following all health and safety procedures within the workshop.
  
  

What We're Looking For To be successful in this role you'll ideally have:

• At least 3 years' experience in a Welder Fabricator position.
  
  
• Strong experience with MIG welding, with TIG and ARC welding experience also beneficial.
  
  
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans.
  
  
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality workmanship.
  
  
• A proactive approach to problem-solving.
  
  
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  
  
• A strong work ethic with a reliable and positive attitude.
