Job Description:

CMA HR Division is partnering with a highly successful and innovative organisation based in Southampton to recruit an experienced Interim Head of People Development & Reward for an initial six-month assignment.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced HR professional who is passionate about developing organisational capability, leadership effectiveness, talent strategies and reward frameworks. Working closely with the executive team, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering people initiatives that support business performance, employee engagement and long-term organisational success.

What will the Interim Head of People Development & Reward role involve?

• Leading a diverse portfolio of People Centre of Excellence functions, including Learning & Development, Leadership Development, Organisational Development, Talent, Culture and Reward
• Translating business priorities into practical and commercially focused people strategies that drive measurable outcomes
• Partnering with senior leaders to strengthen leadership capability, succession planning and organisational effectiveness
• Reviewing and evolving reward and recognition frameworks to ensure they remain competitive, equitable and aligned to business objectives
• Championing a high-performance culture by embedding talent, development and employee experience initiatives across the organisation
• Providing strategic guidance and challenge to key stakeholders on workforce, capability and organisational development matters

Suitable Candidate for the Interim Head of People Development & Reward role:

• Demonstrable experience operating in a senior HR leadership or Centre of Excellence leadership role within a complex or fast-paced organisation
• Strong expertise across organisational development, leadership development, talent management and reward
• Proven ability to influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders and executive teams
• Commercially minded with the ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic delivery
• An engaging and collaborative leadership style, with a passion for developing people and organisational capability
• Previous experience within technology, innovation-led or similarly dynamic environments would be advantageous
