Job Description:

We are currently looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team, working on a range of electrical installations, maintenance and repair activities across water and wastewater treatment sites.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical works, fault finding, planned preventative maintenance and ensuring all equipment and systems operate safely and efficiently.

Experience within the water industry would be highly desirable, although candidates with a strong industrial electrical background from other sectors will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical installation, maintenance and repair work on industrial equipment and systems.

• Fault finding, diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults.

• Working on motors, pumps, control panels, instrumentation and associated electrical equipment.

• Undertaking planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.

• Installing, testing and commissioning electrical equipment.

• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.

• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with current electrical regulations and health and safety requirements.

• Completing job sheets, maintenance records and relevant site documentation.

• Working alongside other trades and site teams to ensure projects and maintenance activities are completed efficiently.
