Internal Sales Executive
Romsey, Hampshire
£26,500–£29,000 + Circa £35,000 OTE + Uncapped Commission
Full-Time, Permanent, Office based

Are you a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships, developing opportunities and seeing conversations turn into sales? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Internal Sales Executive to join an established specialist business operating within the construction sector.

This Internal Sales Executive role combines new business development with relationship management, giving you the opportunity to work with new, existing and previously inactive customers. You'll manage enquiries, follow up quotations and build a pipeline of opportunities through a mixture of warm and cold calling.

You'll receive full training on the products, services and sales process, making this an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Internal Sales Executive looking to develop their B2B sales career within a supportive and commercially focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively contact prospective customers to develop new business opportunities
• Qualify incoming enquiries and understand customer requirements
• Build and nurture relationships with existing customers
• Reconnect with dormant and previously lapsed accounts
• Follow up quotations and maintain regular customer contact
• Research and identify new businesses and potential customers
• Generate quality opportunities through warm and cold calling
• Maintain accurate CRM records and manage your sales pipeline

Skills & Experience

• Previous telesales, internal sales or B2B business development experience
• Confident and professional telephone manner
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Commercially minded and motivated by achieving targets
• Resilient and persistent when handling rejection and following up opportunities
• Organised with good pipeline and time management skills
• Comfortable learning technical products and services
• Ambitious, coachable and keen to develop within sales

Salary and Information

• £26,500–£29,000 basic salary, depending on experience
• Circa £35,000 OTE - Uncapped commission
• Company pension
• Structured training and ongoing sales development
• Free on-site parking
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm
• No weekend working
