TeamJobs are recruiting for a Production Technician to join a growing manufacturing business in Southampton.

This isn't a role for someone who simply operates machinery. We're looking for someone who understands how production should run - and has the confidence and experience to make it better.

Production Technician:
£40,000-£45,000
Monday-Friday
8:00am-4:30pm
37.5 hours
Permanent

Production Technician - The role:

• Set, adjust and change over production machinery

• Fault-find and resolve issues to minimise downtime

• Identify causes of rejects and recurring production problems

• Improve efficiency across filling, labelling and packaging machinery

• Drive continuous improvement and introduce better ways of working

• Develop SOPs and improve production processes

• Support and develop less experienced Machine Setters and Operators

Production Technician - We're looking for:

• Strong machine setting or production engineering experience

• Hands-on mechanical and fault-finding ability

• Experience with filling, packaging or labelling machinery would be ideal

• A strong continuous improvement mindset

• Organised, disciplined and confident challenging existing processes

• Someone who takes ownership and solves problems rather than working around them
