Salary: Up to £50,000 Basic + Overtime + Standby Payments
On-Call: 1 in 4
Holiday: 33 Days (Including Bank Holidays)

About the Opportunity
A growing refrigeration team is looking to appoint an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to work across major supermarket and retail accounts throughout Southampton.
If you're currently working within commercial refrigeration and are interested in developing your career within the supermarket sector, this could be a great next step.
The position will give you the opportunity to work with modern CO₂ refrigeration systems, while hydrocarbon refrigerant training will be provided to the right candidate to further expand their technical skillset.

Your Day-to-Day Role

You will be responsible for maintaining reliable refrigeration systems across supermarket environments, with duties including:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial and supermarket refrigeration systems.
• Investigating faults and responding to refrigeration breakdowns.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Working on CO₂ refrigeration equipment across supermarket sites.
• Taking part in the 1-in-4 on-call rota.
• Completing service reports following site visits.
• Maintaining consistently high levels of customer service and technical standards.

What We're Looking For You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience within commercial refrigeration.
• A valid F-Gas Qualification.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Experience with CO₂ systems would be advantageous, although this is not essential.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and work with new technologies.
