Role Summary

The primary purpose of this role is to lead and manage all post-delivery services for our clients, ensuring exceptional support and customer satisfaction. Acting as the main point of contact for clients requiring warranty assistance, this role coordinates and delivers timely, high-quality solutions tailored to client needs.

The ideal candidate will bring strong project management expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and a background in maritime or shipyard operations to support our commitment to excellence throughout the entire post-sales experience.

Main Tasks and Duties

Warranty Management

• Post vessel delivery, client point of contact for warranty claims.
• Investigate and validate warranty claims.
• Understand the vessel technical manual and OEM maintenance intervals to ensure customers are maintaining vessels inline with specifications and requirements.
• Maintain the warranty log with the client, conduct regular meetings with customers to proactively engage and communicate status of claims.
• Regular meetings with the Production Manager to review warranty claims log to allow resource planning for warranty trips or works.
• Facilitate effective communication between clients, operations, and finance to resolve warranty claims promptly.
• Arrange and organise shipyard staff or contractors to visit vessels and conduct repairs.
• Assist with refit warranty and guarantees.
• Create a matrix of warranty issues to build a clearer picture of failures and report at the end of each warranty period.

Refit and Commissioning

• During busy periods, the chosen candidate will be expected to help other departments in refit and commissioning.

Resources and Constraints

• International travel may on occasion be required.
• The role will be based in the UK, with the specific location confirmed during the recruitment process.
• Must be eligible for UKVS (United Kingdom Security Vetting) Checks.
