Berry Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and motivated Field Manager to join their Commercial Services team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, organised and people-focused individual to take responsibility for overseeing cleaning services across a range of commercial, communal and residential sites.

As a Field Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring cleaning services are delivered to a consistently high standard. You will work closely with operational teams, cleaning staff and clients to coordinate daily activities, monitor performance and resolve any service issues.

You will also be responsible for ensuring Health & Safety requirements are followed, supporting staff development and providing practical leadership across the operation.

• Monitor cleaning services across commercial sites to ensure agreed standards are consistently maintained.
• Carry out regular cleaning audits and inspections.
• Coordinate with operational staff to prioritise and plan daily workloads.
• Monitor cleaning contracts and report any issues to the appropriate manager.
• Support and supervise cleaning staff to ensure excellent frontline service.
• Respond to customer requests, concerns and service issues promptly and professionally.
• Identify potential service problems and take proactive action to resolve them.
• Provide and facilitate training to ensure staff have the appropriate skills and knowledge.
• Ensure all statutory and Health & Safety requirements are met.
• Complete administration accurately and within required timescales.
• Provide cleaning cover when staff are absent or on holiday.
• Maintain company vehicles, ensuring they are clean, appropriately stocked and subject to regular checks.
• Build positive and professional relationships with clients, colleagues and operational teams.
• Work closely with Commercial, Residential and Communal Services.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in a supervisory, management or operational role, ideally within the cleaning or facilities services sector.
• Practical, hands-on and confident working in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Able to lead, motivate and support a team effectively.
• Highly organised with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
• Proactive in identifying and resolving service issues.
• Customer-focused and committed to delivering high standards of service.
• Professional, approachable and able to deal with confidential and sensitive matters appropriately.
• Comfortable working independently while also working effectively as part of a wider team.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Committed to Health & Safety, integrity and professional standards.
• Confident dealing with clients and staff at all levels.
• A clean driving licence is essential.
