The Role – Lead Air Conditioning Engineer

As a Lead Air Conditioning Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Installing split, multi-split, ducted, cassette, ceiling-suspended and VRF/VRV air conditioning systems.

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and routine servicing.

• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs across a variety of air conditioning systems.

• Commissioning new installations and ensuring systems operate efficiently.

• Identifying technical issues and implementing effective solutions.

• Completing digital job sheets, service reports and relevant documentation.

• Ensuring all work complies with current industry standards and health and safety requirements.

• Delivering excellent customer service across domestic and commercial sites.

• Representing the company professionally and maintaining high standards of workmanship.

• Working independently while contributing to the continued growth and reputation of the business.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this Lead Air Conditioning Engineer position, you'll need:

• A minimum of 7 years' experience within the air conditioning industry.

• Valid F-Gas Category 1 certification.

• Strong experience installing, servicing and repairing air conditioning systems.

• Experience working across both domestic and commercial environments.

• Excellent fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

• A full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• A professional attitude and excellent attention to detail.

• The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.

• Good organisational and time management skills.

• The right to work in the UK.

Candidates must also be willing to undergo a DBS check and provide satisfactory employment references.
