Job Description:

We’re recruiting a Site Agent for a top tier contractor to plan and deliver highways maintenance projects across Hampshire. The business is main contractor working on some of the UK’s largest projects as well as supporting National Highways, private clients and local authorities around Hampshire. The business offers genuine flexible working and a culture which supports career growth.

The role will be hybrid between their regional office and visiting live projects. Due to the size of the projects it is rare that you will be positioned on a site 5 days a week. You’ll typically have 3-5 projects at different stages, ranging in value from £100k - £1m which will be delivered a Sub Agent, Foreman and Engineers.

It is essential you have experience of working in the civil engineering sector and using NEC contracts – a technical background is favourable.

Site Agent responsibilities:

• Writing risk assessments and method statements
• Be the client’s main point of contact for live and future work
• Supporting the engineering team with long-term and short programmes
• Working with the commercial team to manage change and EWN (NEC Contract)
• Overall responsibility of health and safety
• Managing design and quality of the project
• Ensuring the project meets deadlines by managing the programme
